The red ribbon appeal is an annual event which serves to provide the public with information on World AIDS Day, red ribbons and other World AIDS Day merchandise. Everyone is encouraged to come, say hi and collect a red ribbon to wear to support the World AIDS Day 2011.

| Project Red Ribbon will see an Impressive line-up of SA fashion designers and big SA names will team up to design a red ribbon dress for World AIDS Day (AKA wear a Red Ribbon Day) under a1 hour pressure test!

Candle Light Memorial |
Positive Living Centre Grounds, 16 Malwa Street, Glandore. All Welcome.
This memorial will take on a two part format, the first to remember those with HIV who have past, the second to celebrate resilience and those people living with HIV today. The memorial quilt will be on show from 5:30pm.

This event aims to inform South Australia leaders of World AIDS Day, update them on the epidemic locally and encourage their continued support in the response to the HIV epidemic. A mass dedicated to remembering, supporting and celebrating all people living with HIV. This mass will be lead by the Archbishop Phillip Wilson.

"Still Around" Movie Screening

Venue: Mercury Cinema, 13 Morphett Street, Adelaide. Ticketed public event
Still Around is an American movie being screened exclusively in South Australia as part of the lead up to World AIDS Day 2011. This movie is a compilation of short documentaries about how HIV has influenced the lives of many different people living in San Francisco. The screening will be preceded by wine and nibbles and will be introduced by one of the directors involved in the film project.
